would definitely stop here again
Perfect spot to crash after a long day. The room had a flat-screen TV, private bathroom with shower, towels, and body soap. Staff was super friendly, and I got a fan since there’s no A/C. Location near China Town and Union Square is a huge plus. Clean and comfortable.

We had a cozy stay where we enjoyed the free breakfast and the charming old-school vibe of the place. The rooftop terrace was perfect for unwinding after a day out, and the little library provided a nice escape. The heating in the room was tricky to manage but didn’t ruin our experience at all. 😊

The Grant Hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from Union Square and other attractions, with charming decor that feels welcoming. However, the lack of air conditioning and some room issues, like small size and noise, did detract from the experience.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We visited Alcatraz and explored Union Square. The location is perfect for hitting major spots. The staff were super helpful. Just a heads-up, rooms are on the small side and don't expect a lot of extras. It's all about sleeping comfortably after a day out.
One downside was the lack of air conditioning. it can get warm, especially in the summer. So just be prepared for that.

Perfect for a group getaway
The staff was super friendly, they even gave me a fan since I knew the place didn’t have A/C. Plus, when I asked for a softer bed, they brought me a mattress pad, which saved my back from turning into a rock after the first night.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable.

The room felt a bit dated compared to the lovely lobby.
